Dizzie the AGA Christmas Dog
We are delighted to introduce our new range of Christmas textiles featuring the very handsome Christmas star Dizzie the black labrador. The range was created by textile consultant Jak Rayner and British artist, Kate Mawdsley, who worked closely with AGA Cookshop Commercial Manager Caroline Smith.
The scene captured on the textiles is Dizzie gazing longingly at the out of reach Christmas pudding resting on the lid of the Simmering Plate in all its glory. Dizzie is sitting beneath the mistletoe modelling a fetching bespoke red jumper. This moment was recreated for the AGA Cookshop Autumn Winter photoshoot in August. Knitwear designer Sean Gleistein was comissioned to create the bespoke red knitted Christmas jumper made to fit Dizzie's exact measurements.
Dizzie the black Labrador is five years old and lives in Norfolk where 9 out of 14 canine residents of the small Norfolk village are also black Labradors. He leads an idyllic rural life and when not sporting his fabulous festive jumper, enjoys nothing more than jumping in to the North sea or the river Bure regardless of the season. Of course he always has the benefit of drying out by his AGA and occasionally moves over to allow his owner to cook dinner.
The exclusive range is available whilst stocks last and includes apron, double oven glove, chef's pad, pot grab and tea towel. We have Christmas gifts covered with the Dizzie gift set comprising of a giftboxed apron and double oven glove, an ideal present for any AGA or labrador owner - all ready to wrap.
