Your Perfect Kitchen Partner - AGA Portmeirion Large Baking Tray

The AGA Portmeirion Large Baking Tray is your perfect partner in any AGA kitchen. The perfect blend of practical and stylish, I use it every day in my busy family kitchen.

I love its versatility – it slides directly on to the runners, making the best use of oven space and can be taken straight to the table for serving (which saves on the washing up!)  Even the simplest food such as a baked side of salmon can be cooked and presented attractively on the tray - just finish with a sprinkle fresh coriander, chilli and lime.



The generous size is large enough to cook a variety of dishes. I use mine regularly to cook delicious tarts as the baking tray can be placed directly on the floor of the roasting oven (also known as the ‘hidden hotplate’) with no need to blind bake the pastry. The radiant heat from the oven floor creates perfectly crisp pastry while the filling cooks on top.

I also love to use mine when serving a Sunday Roast. Preheat the tray in the warming oven, then use for resting your beef or lamb joint next to the AGA. Part carve your meat and pile high with crispy AGA roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings for everyone to dig in and serve themselves at the table.

This brilliant baking tray is also freezer safe, so it’s super easy to prepare food in advance to go straight into the oven. It’s also really easy to clean - just pop in the dishwasher or use a non-scratch sponge and a mild detergent.
